In April 2018 Facebook is still, after Google, the second most visited platform in the world with 1,612B unique visitors and 22,76 billion visits (Source: Similarweb.com).
End of 2017 there were 2.13 billion monthly active users and 1.15 billion mobile daily users.
Average time spent per Facebook visit is 20 minutes.
Everyone is on Facebook.
Almost every day. So how come you cannot get customers there?
I will tell you, why you did not succeed.
You wanted for people to see your ad, go to your website and buy your product or service. Yes?
But would you do it yourself?
Trust a product or service based on a single ad?
You would probably not.
Because an average person needs to see your marketing content 5 to 18 times to gain the trust in you and your offer.
So, if you target the clicks from Facebook directly on your offer, you will see no results.
Making sales from social media is a slow process, but you know it was a great investment once you start see the results.
I have worked for a retailer who was making 1/3 of their sales via social media channels (receiving over 300k visits per month from Facebook alone).
For the above retailer, I have run, managed and created complete content for a Facebook Page with 200k followers.
It was a Fan page bought from a third party and I turned it into an additional sales channel.
So remember: Facebook ads are the fastest and easiest way to sell your products or services, but there is plenty of different possibilities to advertise within the social media.
There are ways to advertise in Facebook other than paid ads. Perhaps more time consuming, but can save you a lot of money!
